The Templet Family consists of five family members including mom and dad- Jerry and Winnie Templet, daughters Susan and Ann Templet and youngest son, Charles Templet. As with most family groups, the tight family harmony they share is hard to beat. Not only will you be blessed by their anointed vocals, but you will be touched and uplifted by their dynamic and exciting live band. The Templet Family takes pride in being one of the few remaining live bands in Gospel music today. The band consists of Susan on keyboards, Ann on bass guitar, Charles on drums and Jerry on acoustic guitar. It would be nearly impossible to label them with one specific style of music. In a Templet Family concert you will hear everything from Southern Gospel, progressive Country Gospel, and Contemporary to Christian Country or Bluegrass. You will also enjoy their smooth accapella songs, and you’ll probably hear a Spanish song or two.
They have received many accolades in their many years of ministry. Those include being nominated two years in a row by the CGMG for Band of the Year, receiving the key to the city from the mayor of Prattville, AL, and having their original national release 'Momma Prayed for Me' remain in the #1 spot for two months in a row in Clanton, AL.
Having been on stage for more than 20 years, The Templet Family is seasoned in the music ministry. This is evident in the wisdom and compassion they share to reach out to their audiences.
